Safe & Effective Matches
The safety and well being of the youth we serve is Big Brothers Big Sisters' highest priority. Therefore, our "Bigs" undergo a thorough screening process in order to gain an increased understanding of their needs and expectations as a volunteer in our program. All "Bigs" attend a training about how to be a mentor and are introduced to the necessary skills to succeed. Our matches are effective because professional staff ensure that the relationships are safe and rewarding for everyone.
